In 2002 Rattenpura was raised as a parish and Br. Johnson Chittilappilly was appointed as the first Parish Priest. Deenbandhu Ashram was functioning as the centre of Parish activities and later separate land was bought and Parish is functioning in the new place. A temporary Friary was put up by Bros. Jacob Kalelly and Reji. A Hindi Medium School for the local children was started and initially Bros. Jacob Kalelly, Rehi and Johnson looked after the construction works and it was completed by Fr. Sebastian. The temporary Friary was demolished and new Friary was constructed by Bros. Sebbastian and Biny AM in the year 2014. At present Bros. Pravesh Philip and Niamath Sindhu are appointed as guardian, parish priest, manager and the principal respectively.
